One of the biggest names in the financial market, XP is carrying out several actions at the Pan American Games in Santiago 2023. In addition to sponsoring theBrazilian Olympic Committee (COB), the company announced partnerships with prominent athletes, such as water marathon runner Ana Marcela Cunha, swimmer Stephanie Balduccini, judoka Rafaela Silva and Bruno Lobo, from the kite formula. These athletes form Team XP in Santiago.
With the slogan XP invests in those who overcome the impossible, the company believes that supporting Brazilian athletes is a source of great pride.
We have a history of entrepreneurship in the investment area that is similar to the journey in sports, with ups and downs, which require a lot of resilience and dedication, says XP Inc. Marketing Director, Lisandro Lopez.
The investor is also one of the shareholders in the transmissions of the CazTVcanal do streamer Casimiro Miguel no YouTube, which will offer more than 400 hours of competition content across three channels. The transmissions will be made directly from Casa Brasil, COB’s residence for Brazilian athletes in the Chilean capital, and will have an area dedicated only to XP.
At the location, the company will receive Team Brazil’s medal-winning athletes for interviews, in addition to giving them the Collect Medal in gold, silver and bronze versions, initially launched at the Tokyo 2020 Games. Furthermore, the space will be open to customers who are in the city to watch the competitions.
XP will also join in supporting Team Brasil. In partnership with Movimento Verde Amarelo (MVA), the investor will have its brand printed on the traditional green and yellow striped t-shirts and on the fans’ flag, and will have the presence of the MVA team in the events in which Team XP athletes compete . All of these actions were planned to amplify the brand as a COB sponsor and strengthen the connection with the audience, involving the event, the fans and the athletes.
It has a long history of investments in sports, which are in line with the company’s strategy for the national and international market, highlights Lopez.
The company also expanded its investments to other sports sectors, such as Formula 1, in which XP signed a sponsorship deal with Aston Martin in 2022, coinciding with the hiring of Brazilian driver Felipe Drugovich as a test driver. It also maintains partnerships in the financial market with the National Football League (NFL) and initiatives related to other growing sports, such as beachtennisas in Arena XP.
