This weekend, Star+ will transform the city of São Paulo into the largest outdoor sticker album on the planet. The Disney group’s streaming platform will launch the Figures of Europe campaign, promoting international football, which is one of the main attractions of its catalogue, and will have activations at various points on Avenida Paulista.
The campaign promoting leagues such as the Premier League, LaLiga and Ligue 1, which are shown exclusively by ESPN and Star+, highlights the image of the biggest international football stars who play weekly in the tournaments. The Figures Robert Lewandowski, Erling Haaland, Kylian Mbapp, Vincius Jnior, Casemiro and Mohamed Salah, among others, will literally become figures that will be pasted at various points on the most famous road in the city of So Paulo.
Avenida Paulista already has points marked for gluing together figures that will be 1.74m high and 1.20m wide of international football stars. Closed to pedestrian traffic only on Sundays, those present will be able to watch on October 29th the figures being pasted by famous personalities, such as Jlio Cocielo and Enaldinho, as well as members of the ESPN team Abel Neto, Fernando Prass, Natasha David and Mariana Spinelli.
The Out Of Home activation brings the element beyond the four lines to European football with a dynamic much appreciated by fans of the sport: opening packages and sticking stickers, but in giant size. The campaign also includes publications aimed at engagement on Instagram and Twitter among football fans and the personalities involved.
International football is one of the main pillars of the Star+ sports catalogue. The platform stands out by displaying more than 20 European leagues, with emphasis on the Premier League, LaLiga, Ligue 1, Serie A, Portuguese Championship, German Cup and the UEFA Europa League, with the quality of ESPN broadcasts, which is a reference in the display of departures of the giants from the old continent to Brazil more than 20 years ago.
