Puma celebrates King Pel and other football icons with new football boots

The launch, made in partnership with Art of Football, was designed to honor five historic players

Puma and Art of Football have teamed up to launch the Puma King, a boot that celebrates five historic players who wore the brand’s boots in the past, such as Pel, who passed away in December 2022.

On the inside and on the insoles of the boots, five historical years are recorded linked to moments lived by the honorees, such as 1966 Eusbio; 1970 Pel; 1974 Johan Cruyff; 1986 Diego Maradona; and 1990 Lothar Matthaus.

The new boot uses a black base to combine with the colors alpine snow and gold, in addition to featuring hand-stitched stitching on the upper and an exclusive AOF King logo.
