The partnership between the brands aims to highlight the features of the Galaxy SmartTag2
Petlove and Samsung have joined forces to reassure pet owners with the national launch of the Galaxy SmartTag2, a tracking and monitoring device developed by the Korean company.
The partnership between the brands aims to highlight the features of the gadget that allows tracking the location of pets when attached to the collar.
With a lightweight and anatomical design, the Galaxy SmartTag2 was developed with the comfort of dogs and cats in mind and, among its many notable features, is the alert issued by the gadget if the pet moves away from the registered home address. To fulfill this function, the device must be paired with an eligible Samsung Galaxy smartphone and then attached to the pets’ collars.
“Launching the Galaxy SmartTag 2 in Brazil is an important step towards demonstrating the importance of technology as a fundamental ally to improve the lives of pet owners. The ability to track the location of their pets in real time, offering alerts when they move away from the home, and providing contact information in case of loss are resources that demonstrate how technology can provide more security and peace of mind for those who consider their pets essential members of the family, said Lucia Bittar, director of Mobile Experience Marketing at Samsung Brazil .
The technological innovation can be purchased at the e-commerce stores of both brands and, in the case of Petlove, sales will be made both on the brand’s website and app and in the company’s nine physical stores.
We, at Petlove, see the partnership with Samsung as an important opportunity to raise awareness among owners and, above all, promote a powerful solution to change the scenario when it comes to the safety of pets, who are an essential part of the multispecies family. Our priority is to team up with brands and companies that are aligned with our non-negotiable purpose of transforming the world into a place where pets can be happier and healthier, highlighted Andr Romeiro, director of Brands & Communications at Petlove.
To boost phygital sales of the novelty by the pet company, there will be the possibility for owners to acquire the tag for free when contracting superior types of health plans from Petlove.
