A Disney Magic Runpopular themed race Disney which combines fun and physical activity with the most loved and well-known characters in the world, took over the streets of So Paulo (SP) on October 29th. The event held in the region of Ibirapuera park It brought together more than 10 thousand people, including athletes and families, on two route options: an 8km run or a 3km walk. Furthermore, participants were able to take advantage of a special program and activations for all tastes and ages, offered by the event’s sponsoring and supporting brands.
The stage, commanded by Radio Disney, had the presence of Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald to welcome fans, who were able to participate in a warm-up before the run and walk and various interactive dynamics about the Disney universe, complete with prizes. The characters also interacted with the runners along the route.
As master sponsor of the Disney Magic Run, Nubank Ultraviolet was present throughout the experience, from the pick-up of the kits (which took place between the 26th and 28th of October, and included a t-shirt customization workshop) until the day of the race, with a warm-up session at the financial institution’s stand. .
Other brands were also present as sponsors at the collection of kits and at the race, with interactive actions for the public at their stands. the case of ACE, a sportswear line from C&Awhich was responsible for making Disney Magic Run t-shirts and bags. Tang provided refreshing juices to event participants, while the ACCamargo Cancer Center institution promoted messages about the importance of taking care of your health and offered a fun experience through bicycles that activated a blender to prepare a healthy shake.
The NGO Achilles also contributed to accessibility, offering support to athletes with disabilities by organizing preferential service when collecting kits, and offering support with guides and equipment adjustment at the event, in an exclusive tent close to the main stage. Furthermore, the NGO took more than 30 PwD athletes to participate in the race.
Other supporting brands such as Grendene Kids, The Apothecary e Nestle brought themed stands to the event, with photo opportunities and product experimentation, while Huggies offered a baby changing room for the comfort of families who attended the race.
Completing the experience, the Disney Magic Run featured the synergy of other fronts and franchises of The Walt Disney Company, with special activations from Disney+ and productions available on the platform, ESPN, Disney Parks, Disney 100, Disney Princess, in addition to photo opportunity of Wish, next release from Walt Disney Animation Studios, which premieres on January 4, 2024 in Brazilian cinemas. When collecting the kits, the public was also able to participate in a Meet & Greet with the characters and discover Disney licensed products through an official store and themed toy library for children.
