Social Incremental will be launched next year and will allow agencies and publishers to optimize and position campaigns
Comscore announced the addition of social media metrics (Social Incremental) to its Media Metrix Multi-Platform tool, which provides a duplicate view of audiences across desktops, mobile devices and social networks.
With the company’s new development, agencies will be able to optimize the channel, while publishers will be able to better position the reach of their properties for partners.
Comscore’s methodology accurately streamlines data and reveals interconnections between platforms, allowing us to provide reach metrics that now include social media. a solution only made viable by the sheer scale of Comscore’s proprietary digital dashboard. Our inherently privacy-first Social Incremental methodology allows publishers with a significant presence on social media to capture and monetize the full value of their deduplicated audiences across their digital journey, said Greg Dale, COO of Comscore.
Comscore Digital Industry Rankings will now report on traffic including social for properties that have worked with Comscore to enable this comprehensive measurement.
When examining consumer trends in Latin America, we noticed a significant shift in the distribution of media content. Therefore, we consider it essential that our customers can accurately measure their reach, including those who interact with news on social media or who consume videos”, explained Alejandro Fosk, Senior Vice President of Comscore in Latin America.
The national launch of Comscore’s Social Incremental tool is scheduled for next year.
