Hershey’s has a new head of marketing, Sinapro-SP has a new executive director and new features at Greenz
Wieden+Kennedy and Diageo had the main market movements this week, in addition to Ogilvy which confirmed, this Friday (10), the departure of the CCO Sergio Mugnaini.
This was Sergio’s second stint at Ogilvy Brasil. The first happened in 2003, when the creative was Young Lions in the Brazilian delegation and won his first Golden Lion.
CCO that goes, CCO that arrives: Rodrigo Jatene was announced this week at Wieden+Kennedy. From 2024, the executive will lead the offices in São Paulo and Mexico City, in addition to the Buenos Aires hub, in the position of Felipe Ribeirowho will assume the coCCO chair at the network’s office in Portland (USA), alongside Azsa West.
Already Diageo, Patricia Borges appointed as CEO reserve joint-venture & global SVP, luxury business. The executive has worked since 2022 as VP of marketing and innovation for Brazil, a role that will be assumed by Guilherme Martins.
He previously served in Mexico as global director of marketing for the tequila category. Both will officially start working in their new positions from November 20th. Patricia, in turn, will be the first Latin American woman to occupy a global position.
J na Hersheys, Raquel Albernaz took on the role of head of marketing for the brand for Latin America. The executive has already worked on brand building, communication, innovation and strategic planning projects.
With a bachelor’s degree in business administration from PUC-SP and a coach with training at SLAC, she has worked at Mondelez, iFood and Nestl, where she was director of consumer insights & market place and consumer engagement for the last two years.
Brazilian in Budapest
The Brazilian Romulo Caballero, having worked at VML, R/GA, Fbiz/WPP, DM9 and FCB, now works as creative group head at Publicis One Touch, in Budapest. He will work with executive creative director Rodrigo Leal Rodrigues, based in Dubai.
Nivea is the dedicated agency for all emerging markets (Asia, Africa, Middle East and Latin America).
Head of people
A Greenz presented Marina Cantafio as its new head of people. She will take on the role of leading the People & Experience pillar, which aims to accelerate employees’ careers and was created in 2021.
Marina Cantafio HR professional with more than 20 years of career, having worked for companies such as PwC, UOL, Grupo RBS, Wunderman-Thompson, Smart Fit, Simpar and Dr. Oetker.
Sinapro
O Sinapro-SP (Union of Advertising Agencies of the State of SP) hired Patricia Alexandre to be the entity’s new executive director. One of the executive’s objectives will be to increase the protagonism of diversity issues and inclusion on the agenda of the entity and the advertising market.
Graduated in Administration, with a postgraduate degree in Organizational Psychology and People Management, Patricia Alexandre worked as head of Generalist HR in companies such as Kavak, Dentsu Internacional, Ericsson Telecomunicaes, DR Marketing Promocional, Tintas MC and Gol Transportes Areos.
Board change
A Teadspromoted Helena Bonesio a client partnership director e Lucas Cavalcante the head of agency sales. Helena built her career in large companies such as Embraer, Citren, Caoa, The Este Lauder Companies Brasil and Volkswagen do Brasil.
J Lucas worked for large companies such as publishers Trip, JWT, Microsoft, UOL and Dentsu MB, where he was media director.
And in the producers…
A Barry Company announced the hiring of Larissa Murai for the position of stage director at the production company. The professional has already worked as a content assistant for writer and director Caroline Fioratti, developing series and feature films for streaming services, such as Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.
A Pilot received the duo partyformed by Camila Rocha e Luiza Prado, in its casting of directors. Together, they have already signed work for Ambev, Will Bank and Santher.
Paranoid, in turn, hired the director Diego Fraga to the team. The professional has already created dozens of prominent viral pieces, including “Campo de Morango” for Lusa Sonza and the marketing behind “Quer Voar” for Matu.
