A Gastromotivaa social organization focused on combating hunger and food insecurity, has just launched the campaign Christmas that Transforms to highlight the fundamental role of food in our lives. The initiative aims to show how hunger can prevent dreams from being realized and how opportunities are fundamental to promoting social mobility. In fact, through its educational pillar, the organization offers free, quality courses in the area of food and beverages, with the aim of generating long-term transformations in the lives of people in vulnerable situations.
The campaign’s ambitious goal is to raise funds to distribute 20,000 meals. To this end, the organization asks for donations starting at R$10, the amount needed to provide a healthy and balanced meal. These meals are prepared following a specific methodology that makes full use of food, contributing significantly to combating food waste.
The campaign will be broadcast on online media and social networks, remaining active until December 26th. Those interested in contributing can directly access the campaign page or donate via Pix, using the email [email protected].
We invite people once again to look at hunger as a problem for all of civil society. We need to awaken a feeling of collectiveness and the search for a fairer future. We need everyone’s collaboration to be able to provide quality meals and affection for an increasing number of people, comments David Hertz.
Furthermore, Gastromotiva prepared an exciting film that presents testimonials from students, alumni and social entrepreneurs whose businesses were accelerated by the organization, inviting the public to reflect on how food can be a powerful agent of social transformation.
At Gastromotiva, we believe that what brings long-term transformations are opportunities. We often begin serving our beneficiaries with the donation of warm food and we are often able to take these people to our courses and into the job market, concludes Hertz.
By supporting the campaign, you help boost opportunities and create a lasting impact on people’s lives. Check out the full film below and make your donation.
