The Brazilian market ended the first day of the awards with six Golds, 11 Silvers and nine Bronzes
The first day of the Festival El Ojo de Iberoamrica 2023 ended with 31 awards going to Brazil in the six categories presented this Tuesday (14). In total, the country won six Golds, 11 Silvers and nine Bronzes.
Africa Creatives was the most awarded Brazilian agency of the night with six trophies (three Gold, two Silver and one Bronze), followed by BETC Havas with three awards (one Gold, one Silver and one Bronze) and VMLY&R Brasil with two silver.
Em Effectiveness & Creative Business Transformation, Brazil won six awards, three of which were gold for Africa Creative, with two of them going to the Other MCs case for Heinz and one for Bring Home The Bud, for Budweiser. The two silvers in the category went to Africa Creative, by Outro MCs and AlmapBBDO for the piece Eart4, made for B3 and the UN Global Compact. Bronze was awarded to the play Ready Player Mom, which features the Brazilian WMcCann, Druid Creative Gaming and Spark Lab, in addition to the production company Canja.
J em Audio and Sound productionBrazil won a Silver with the campaign Salve a Favela, signed by BETC Havas for Kondzilla Records.
Em Audiovisual production13 awards were awarded to Brazil, two of which were Gold (BETC Havas and Ampfy), seven Silver (two for VMLY&R Brasil, two for TBWA\Buenos Aires and produced by Landia, one for GUT So Paulo, one for Euphoria Creative and one for production company Kaus Film) and four Bronzes (one for GUT So Paulo, one for TBWA\Buenos Aires and produced by Landia, one for BETC Havas and one for Nacional Comunicao).
Finally, in the festival’s newcomer category, chaired by Brazilian Bernardo Romero, Said e FarmaBrazil won a total of six awards, one Gold (Africa Creatives), one Silver (Africa Creative) and four Bronzes (MRM Spain but produced by Canja, Africa Creatives, Wunderman Thompson Brasil and Havas Health & You, but produced by Canja).
The categories of Graphics, Graphic Production e Rdio e share There were no winning Brazilian cases.
The Local Eye
In addition to the works mentioned above, Brazil also won two cases recognized by El Ojo Local, which recognizes different realities, economies and moments of industry development in each of the countries in the region that have works entered in the festival.
The award-winning agencies in the category were Africa Creative with the “Bring Home The Bud” campaign made for Budweiser, and AlmapBBDO with the piece “Eart4”, created for B3 and the UN Global Compact.
