Tirullipa signs contract to run program on SBT

O SBT announces another great signing for its team of stars. Comedian Tirullipa, affectionately nicknamed Tirsigned a contract with the broadcaster to run an exclusive program that promises to have the Brazilian family guy. The new attraction will be directed by Marcelo Kestenbaum.

I’m very excited! Being able to have a program was my biggest dream and that’s where I started, at home, on SBT, which for me is the biggest broadcaster in the family. If you are going to talk about family, the number one family broadcaster is SBT. I’m coming to work for the family, says Tir.

Known for his unique talent in humor, Tirullipa had his first appearance on SBT alongside the late presenter Gugu Liberato, on the program Domingo Legal, in 1996.

At the time, I had done a local program in Cear. My uncle, Lindon Johnson, my mother’s brother, took me to perform at a local program in Fortaleza, I performed imitating my father singing Florentina and my uncle recorded it, leaving it on tape at home. Without talking to us, he took this recording of Tiririquinha or Tiririca Jnior and sent it here to SBT. This tape ended up at Domingo Legal, at Gugu. Magro (former director) at the time watched it, liked it and the following Sunday, I received the call that I was invited to participate in Gugu. It was a huge responsibility and it was one of the happiest days of my life, because from then on I never stopped. It’s been more than 27 years and thanks to the doors that SBT, Domingo Legal and Gugu opened for me. I did seven Sundays in a row and Gugu never let go of me. I thank God and SBT for my career, recalls the comedian.

Now, after years of success, the comedian returns to the station to bring joy and relaxation to a new program that promises to win over audiences of all ages.

a pleasure to be returning. I’m just returning to where I started, back to my origins, back to my home. I usually say that SBT was my greatest home, because it was the home that embraced me, that gave me the opportunity, not only for myself, but for my father as well, and being able to return here home and return to a program , inexplicably, concludes the new hire.

SBT has not yet released the premiere date, name and details of the program. It is also not known what the broadcaster’s plans are in terms of fitting into the weekly schedule. However, the attraction promises to be a success with Tirullipa’s trademark, combining quality humor and unforgettable moments for the whole family.

Son of fellow comedian Tiririca, a success in the 90s, Tirullipa made his name on the Brazilian comedy scene with comedy shows. stand up comedy which have already toured the entire country, and recently invested in the children’s show Circo do Tir, a musical circus with seasonal themes.
