From journalist Vincius Novaes, ‘Ningum via Chapus ou Meninos’ brings together chronicles with social themes using a metropolis as the setting
Editor do propmark online, journalist Vincius Novaes will launch, in December, in So Paulo, his new book of chronicles ‘Ningum via Chapus ou Meninos’.
Released by Editora Penalux, the book presents narratives on themes such as death, love, loneliness and the consequences of the pandemic in today’s society, with a metropolis as a backdrop.
The texts of ‘Ningum via Chapus ou Meninos’ intertwine, creating an atmosphere that, according to the author, seeks to provoke reflection on what often goes unnoticed.
More than the essence of the streets themselves, Vincius Novaes’ book portrays the characters that give them life and, as the journalist says, inhabit the ‘forgotten corners of an apparently indifferent city’.
“My journalistic side, especially when it comes to observation, was the key point in writing the texts for ‘Ningum via Chapus ou Meninos’. They are texts that mix journalism and literature”, said Vincius Novaes.
‘Ningum via Chapus ou Meninos’ is the second book by journalist Vincius Novaes. In 2016, he released ‘I love you, but I’m drunk’, a work that brings together chronicles about love.
