Created in partnership with Ogilvy Brasil and 3C Gaming, with the presence of digital influencers from the gaming world
The GRAACC Hospital announced the launch of the GRAAC Gaming Day action in partnership with Ogilvy Brasil and with strategic and creative consultancy from 3C Gaming.
The event will be held on the streaming platform Twitch and YouTube, with some of the main influencers in the gaming sector playing Fortnite with a map created by Mateus “Derponce” Yoshitani.
“Our patients face a daily journey, overcoming various stages of treatment. The map reflects these stages they have overcome”, explained Tammy Allersdorfer, superintendent of institutional development at GRAACC Hospital.
The activation will take place this Thursday (23), on the date marked by the National Day to Combat Childhood Cancer, in lives carried out with names such as Letiltz, Coringa, Samira Close and Sharshock, and live broadcasts on Twitch, with Gorila and Nobru on YouTube.
On GG Day, influencers will present the GRAACC map, in Fortnite’s creative mode, which will be available to be played by people from all over the world using the access code shared during the lives (This is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Epic Games, Inc).
“Since March, when Epic announced that it would distribute part of its revenue to creative mode maps, we have been looking for how to direct this mechanic to amplify social causes. The GRAACC map unites everything that is most genuine and powerful in games: It’s an innovative way of telling stories with the strength of a united and extremely engaged community”, said Giovanna Cartapatti, Head of Creative Strategy at 3C Gaming.
In addition to the monetization that will come from the map, all lives will have a collaboration counter for GRAACC for everyone to monitor the engagement around the action. “Designing this project was a great team effort, which involved a lot of strategy and creation. Gaming Day is a milestone in the way of engaging people in the cure of childhood cancer, where playing can donate to GRAACC”, highlighted Claudia Pimenta, Creative Director at Ogilvy Brasil.
