Located in Parque Bruno Covas, the bar aims to invite the population to rethink the ways in which they occupy urban spaces.
Heineken announced the extension of the Floating Bar, the brand’s floating bar located on the banks of the Pinheiros River, for this weekend.
The site was inaugurated on September 29th, with the purpose of generating a reflection on the future of the river, in addition to having all profits from the operation allocated to projects that contribute to the improvement of the site and its surroundings, in partnership with the SOS Mata Atlntica Foundation.
In total, the Floating Bar has already received more than seven thousand people and a transfer value of R$ 1 million, which will include the launch of a notice in partnership with the organization so that more companies can help contribute to improvements in the river basin and the surroundings.
Located in the Parque Bruno Covas region, of which the brand has been one of the sponsors since 2021, the bar’s objective was to invite the public to rethink the ways in which urban spaces are occupied to visualize new perspectives of enjoyment, as yet another action capable of transforming the city.
The structure of the Floating Bar is 400 m designed by Atenas, which was responsible for planning, creating and executing the culture and sustainability platform for the Heineken brand in Brazil.
The initiative is part of the Green Your City platform, launched in 2021, which includes a series of initiatives with a focus on culture and sustainability and which will guide all of the brand’s actions, in accordance with its sustainability goals.
