The launch of the book featured a humorous campaign from the agency 11:21
The advertiser from Rio, with more than 60 years of career, launched the book Maxrketing, the crux of the matter. With the subtitle Discover how Marx’s commodity fetishism revolutionized commercial and market strategies and anticipated marketing by more than 50 years, the book addresses a crucial topic for marketing, advertising and communications professionals.
The 11:21 agency was responsible for creating the digital and social media campaign. Gustavo Bastos, CEO and CCO of the agency and creator of the campaign together with Diego Crisostomo, chose to follow a humorous line for the launch of the work. Provocative titles, like Communist Elysium? or What is Delfim doing in a post from Elysio’s book about Marx?, were used to pique the curiosity of future readers, in addition to cartoons by illustrator Thas Linhares, also present on the pages of the book.
Do you want a greater privilege than creating a campaign for a marketing book, which involves Marx’s theory, written by Elysio? I don’t know, said Gustavo Bastos.
The book signing took place on November 23rd at Livraria Argumento, in Rio de Janeiro.
