In honor of the 40th anniversary of the premiere of one of the most beloved TV series in Brazil and throughout Latin America, the capital of São Paulo will host, in January 2024, ‘Chaves: The Exposure’. The largest exhibition about Chaves ever held in the world will take place at MIS Experience, an institution of the Secretariat of Culture, Economy and Creative Industry of the Government of the State of São Paulo, and will celebrate the four decades of airing of the iconic TV program in Brazil, with the reconstruction of more than 20 emblematic scenes that were part of the lives of millions of spectators.
In addition to transporting visitors into the series Chaves and the hero Chapolin Colorado, the exhibition, unprecedented in the world, will bring together an exclusive collection of costumes, items and original scripts brought from Mexico exclusively for the exhibition in São Paulo.
The life and work of its creator, the writer Roberto Gmez Bolaos, known as Chespirito, will also be covered. The scenarios will be recreated in detail to offer a unique experience. It will be possible to “enter the scene” in the traditional Vila do Chaves, Casa do Seu Madruga, in the second Patio da Vila and even visit some places from the series that were only in the imagination of the character himself, such as the “Sala da Bruxa do 71 ”, among other famous scenarios from the series.
Tickets for ‘Chaves: A Exposio’ are now on sale on the official website. On Tuesdays, entry is free, the ticket must be collected exclusively at the MIS Experience physical box office, on the day of the visit (subject to capacity).
‘Chaves: The Exhibition’ is a realization of the Ministry of Culture, Government of the State of São Paulo, through the Secretariat of Culture, Economy and Creative Industry, MIS Experience, Chespirito, Boldly and Deeplab Project, through the Federal Culture Incentive Law .
