Spotify presents its 2023 Retrospective today (Wrapped, em ingls)in which it reveals the most listened to artists, songs, albums and podcasts among more than 574 million people around the world. Through a unique user experience, Spotify listeners will be able to check out and “give it real” about your year.

- Most listened to artists in Brazil: Ana Castela (#1) took first place in the ranking this year. Behind the cattle boat, Henrique & Juliano (#2) follow; MC Ryan SP (#3), the eternal queen of suffering,Marlia Mendona (#4) and Jorge & Mateus (#5).
- Ana Castela, who for the first time reaches the position of most listened to artist of the year, occupies 93rd position in the global ranking of this year’s most listened to artists.
- Most listened to songs in Brazil: In Brazil, women dominate the top positions for most listened to songs this year. Nosso Quadro (#1), by Ana Castela, leads the ranking, followed by Leo (#2), by Marlia Mendona, and Erro Gostoso (#3), by Simone Mendes occupy the second and third positions. Bonbonzinho (#4), by Israel & Rodolffo and Ana Castela and Seu Brilho Sumiu (#5), by Israel & Rodolffo and Mari Fernandez complete the Top 5.
- Most listened to albums in Brazil: Escolhas, Vol. 2, by Z Neto & Cristiano emerges as the most listened to album this year in the country. Followed by Let’s Bora, Vol. 2 (#2), by Israel & Rodolffo, Dos Prdios Deluxe (#3), by Veigh. Manifesto Musical (#4), by Henrique & Juliano, the most listened to album in the Spotify Retrospective 2022, remains in the ranking as the fourth most listened to this year, and Dos Prdios (#5), by Veigh, closes the top five positions.

Most popular podcasts: Podpah, for the second time in a row, the most listened to podcast in Brazil in 2023. In the sequence, the highlights are the Spotify Original and Exclusive productions, Mano a Mano (#2), presented by Mano Brown, Caf da Manh ( #3), in partnership with Folha de S.Paulo and Psicologia na Prtica, presented by Alana Anijar. In fifth place, No Inviabilize (#5), presented by Dia Freitas.

- Most listened to artists in the world: Taking the lead as Spotify’s main artist,Taylor Swifttakes first place as the most listened to artist in the world with more than 26 billion global streams since January 1, followed by Bad Bunny (#2), The Weeknd (#3), Drake (#4) and Peso Pluma (# 5).
- Most listened to songs in the world: The most listened to song of 2023 is Flowers, by Miley Cyrus, which broke records with more than 1.6 billion streams globally this year. In second and third place respectively are Kill Bill, by SZA (#2), As It Was, by Harry Styles (#3). In fourth and fifth positions, Seven (feat. Latto), by Jung Kook (#4), and Ella Baila Sola, by Eslabon Armado and Peso Pluma (#5) close the ranking.
- Most listened to albums in the world: The most listened to album of 2023, for the second year in a row, Un Verano Sin Ti, by Bad Bunny (#1), followed by Midnights, by Taylor Swift (#2). SOS, by SZA, takes third place (#3), Starboy, by The Weeknd (#4), takes fourth place and MAANA SER BONITO, by KAROL G (#5) secures fifth place.

- Me in 2023: Celebrate a streaming habit that defined your listening this year. The experiment reveals one of the 12 personas that best describes the way you used Spotify this year. Some examples are: Mutante (your favorite artist changes all the time); Alchemist (you create your own playlists, more than anyone else); Sunbeam (Your musical taste radiates the light that exists within you. - The Top 5 most listened to musical genres in your year will appear in sandwich format.
- The Top 5 Artists, in addition to the ranking of artists, will also allow you to check which months they were most listened to.
- You will also be able to listen to Messages from your Artist. You can then view the Retrospective feed to see video messages from several other artists, including: Taylor Swift, Bad Bunny, Peso Pluma, NewJeans, SZA, KAROL G, Jung Kook and others.
- Retrospective Feed: On Spotify’s home screen, the Retrospective feed is where your entire retrospective will be, including the best editorial playlists and more.

The retrospective of integrations in 2023
Retrospective on FC Barcelona’s pitches: As part of the partnership between Spotify and FC Barcelona, fans of the Catalan team and platform users can find videos of some of their favorite players trying to guess what will be featured in their retrospectives, including Robert Lewandowski, Alexia Putella and Pedro. In addition, the Spotify 2023 Retrospective will be presented on LED televisions at the next games for the men’s team, on December 3rd, and the women’s team, on December 10th.
