To promote the new Guaran Antarctica Zero, the brand is distributing the soft drink at Rock The Mountain, in Rio de Janeiro.
The 100% Brazilian soft drink, theGuarante Antarctica Zero, received a complete overhaul. Now, Ambev’s calorie-free drink offers a taste more similar to the regular drink than ours. In addition to the change in flavor, the can received a new design in dark green, distinguishing itself from both the old guaraná zero with the silver-colored can and the original light green guaraná.
To promote the new face of zero soda, Guaran Antarctica published a special video on the brand’s YouTube channel. Check out the video below:
The change is the result of a three-year investment in the areas of innovation, production technology and customer research. Ambev’s soft drinks director, Juliana Grinberg, commented that the brand developed more than 100 different recipes to arrive at the new flavor, approved by the Guardians of Guaran Antarctica, a small and select global group that knows the original guaran recipe and is involved directly involved in innovations linked to sensory experiences.
We always hear from consumers the desire to have a product that is even closer to the original. We invested in research, active listening and testing until we arrived at the new formula, which respects the centuries-old history of the soft drink, but without the sugars or that characteristic residue common in products with sweeteners, comments Juliana.
In addition to the action on social media, the special release also debuted at the festival Rock The Mountain, in Rio de Janeiro. The action, which marked the brand’s return to festivals and events, includes the distribution of drinks to the public.
