A Spanish modeling agency announced the creation of the country’s first digital influencer generated by artificial intelligence, capable of generating up to US$11 thousand per month. In an interview with Euronews, Rube Cruz, founder of the Barcelona agency The Clueless, responsible for creating the influencer, gave details of the news.
Aitana Lpez, the AI-generated woman, is 25 years old and has pink hair. Her account already has 185 thousand followers on Instagram. Cruz explained to Euronews that the decision to create Lpez came after difficulties working with real models and influencers. He detailed that many projects were postponed or canceled due to problems beyond the agency’s control, often related to the attitudes of influencers or models.
Created with a “personality” and “based on what society likes most”, Atiana, according to Cruz, presented as a “strong and determined” woman, passionate about video games and fitness. The influencer already has more 50 photos shared on his Instagram account. Images of her in lingerie were also posted on Fanvue, a subscription platform similar to OnlyFans.
But Aitana is not alone. It competes for the audience with older versions of influencers that don’t exist, but these were created by hand by human designers. the case of Lil Miquela and Shudu, or Brazilian avatars such as Nat Natura and Lu da Magalu.
With Aitana’s success on social media, The Clueless agency began investing in new profiles and announced the influencer Maia Lima, defined as an innocent, bisexual and exotic young Argentinean. On the company’s website, the models’ services are advertised as an innovation and they can earn up to 10 thousand euros per month. Furthermore, it is guaranteed that they are capable of combining any type of project or company.
