The award-winning whiskey 1792 Small Batch presents Studio 1792, an experience that will bring together this Thursday (7), at Exit Bar, national hip-hop legend BNego, from Planet Hemp, and journalist Felipe Machado for a night of bourboncocktails, music and intimate conversation.
The event for guests will be broadcast live, starting at 9pm, on artist profile on Instagramand offer fans the opportunity to follow an exclusive conversation with one of hip-hop’s greatest talents about the unusual paths that led him to where he is today.
Studio 1792 celebrates those who dare to do things differently and authentically, just like 1792, a bourbon really distinct. From the campaign packaging, to the tasting notes, 1792 is sophisticated, urban and completely unexpected. There is nothing rustic about it, which is common in the category, comments Leandro Barbosa, brand ambassador in Brazil.
According to BNego, being atypical is one of his signatures, within his artistic journey.
Generation 90, raised by hip hop, rock and national punk, admirer of João Gilberto, Jorge Ben and the samba masters, devotee of Caymmi, lover of contemporary Brazilian and world music. Atypical. I am very happy with the invitation from Studio 1792 and to be part of this first meeting, here in Brazil. Let’s chat about this road, and how it has parallels with the 1792 walk. Soon after, I’m going to do a unique, atypical Bota Som session, to honor this night, he says.
In the American edition, Studio 1792 featured hip-hop historian and founder of Video Music Box, Ralph McDaniels, and industry icons Ice-T and Wyclef Jean.
It is a great satisfaction to participate in the Brazilian version of this 1792 project alongside BNego. Who knows the bourbons traditional whiskeys will be amazed by this different whiskey from Kentucky, which marks a new phase in the consumption of the drink in the country. At Studio 1792, we will make this connection in conversation with BNego, an artist who transitions from MPB to hip-hop in an original and surprising way, concludes Felipe Machado.
The action aims to reinforce the identity of the brand, which has just arrived in the country by Aurora Fine Brands. 1792 Small Batch is owned by Sazerac Company and produced at Barton 1792 Distillery, the oldest continuously operating distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky. From the look of the bottle to the tasting notes, 1792 is an atypical whiskey, more urban, stylish and sophisticated.
Made from the exclusive recipe of high rye (high rye) and the combination of barrels carefully chosen by the Master Distiller, it presents an expressive and bold flavor, the result of precise craftsmanship. Its name is a reference to the year Kentucky became a state, a tribute to the history of Bourbon. Last year, he was a gold medal winner at the International Spirits Competition.
On the palate, the whiskey is intense, but also smooth and balanced, with traditional notes of caramel, vanilla, dark cherry, brown sugar and light charcoal. In the end, the sweeter notes persist, and little by little, pleasant notes of black and white pepper are added, prolonging its outcome, almost like a compliment to the rye in its recipe, giving the 1792 a richness of character and flavor.
