Nike, through Fisia, launched its app in Brazil last week and, to communicate the arrival of the gadget, chose Purpple to develop both the positioning and the campaign.
Based on behavioral studies, the agency created a new perspective and “Hello Nike” became “Vem Nike App”.
The choice of words, aligned with the young audience and connected to culture, aimed to bring an additional layer to communication.
“The challenge was to work on the global ‘Hello Nike’ concept which, in literal translation, would not deliver the essence of Nike’s proximity to the Brazilian target”, stated Marcelo Bernardes, CEO of Purple.
