Action signed by Wunderman Thompson was inspired by the Essências do Brasil line
Lux Botanicals added a touch of Brazilianness to the start of this year’s Christmas season.
The brand’s action, signed by Wunderman Thompson, was inspired by the Essências do Brasil line and aimed to bring back the emotion of the Christmas tree at Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, in Rio de Janeiro.
Instead of the traditional pine tree, the tree appears as a copaba Christmas tree, which was decorated with the flowers that inspire the fragrances of the line’s liquid and bar soaps. The new Christmas protagonist was inserted, virtually, into the carioca post card in a fake out-of-home (FOOH) format.
“We want to enable all of Brazil to experience the magic of the Christmas tree, reinforcing the objective of our products which is to offer unique experiences of well-being and connection with nature to revitalize body, mind and soul. With this campaign, we highlight the origin of our ingredients and the connection with our culture, inviting everyone to celebrate and feel on their skin what is truly ours, 100% Brazilian”, highlights Andreza Graner, marketing director at Unilever.
The creative concept for the activation was signed by Wunderman Thompson, who was also responsible for the CGI project. The video will be shared on Lux Botanicals’ social networks.
