Next year, Rock in Rio will celebrate four decades of great encounters: between artists, the City of Rock and its fans, between friends, families, rhythms and musical genres. And for 2024, the public can start their countdown not just to the City of Rock, but to party days throughout the year. The first of these takes place at the turn of the year, on one of the main New Year’s Eve celebrations in the world, Copacabana, when Rock in Rio will be honored at this great party. For the first time in the festival’s history, the stage for major meetings, a favorite of the public and critics, will have the same stage as the giant Palco Mundo, reinforcing all its power and equality.
The World Stage, with a megastructure measuring 104m in front and 30m in height, will receive new scenography in 2024.
