The Paulista Supermarkets Association (APAS), through its Social Responsibility Directorate, encourages the campaign APAS Solidarity Christmaswhich aims to collect donations of non-perishable food from customers of associated supermarkets.
The food collected will be donated to local social organizations, the city’s social fund or other social institutions at the discretion of the supermarket. The suggestion is that collection be made by December 22nd in supermarkets that are part of the Association, throughout the State of São Paulo.
Throughout 2023, APAS, through APAS Show and APAS Experience, collected a total of 52.6 tons of food, cleaning and hygiene products, to be distributed to hundreds of social organizations, through strategic partnerships with organizations Amigos do Bem, Associao Prato Cheio and Programa Mesa Brasil do SESC-SP, essential in the project. Now, through the Natal Solidário campaign, APAS seeks to encourage members to carry out social actions in their region, strengthening their brand and also contributing to a more united world.
Christmas is a time of celebration, renewal of hope and love for others. We know that many families are vulnerable, actions like this encourage everyone to get involved and encourage solidarity as a wholesays Marcelo Souza, coordinator of Store Operations at APAS.
