After three months of voting, cheering and a lot of anxiety, the wait is over. The winners of the third edition of the competition were announced Most Beautiful Can in Brazil. The 2023 version of the award, which celebrates the talent, innovation and creativity printed on cans, consolidated the success of the beer market in the southeast region of Brazil, with São Paulo, Minas Gerais and Rio de Janeiro conquering the top positions in the ranking national.
The West Coast IPA Compl beer, from the compl brewery, in So Paulo, was voted the most beautiful can in Brazil. The bold and inviting design of the can took the most votes. The creativity and beauty of Furst Pilsen Lite, from the Furst brewery, earned the brewery in Minas Gerais second place. The capital of Rio took third place with Hockneys Dreamscaspe beer, from the Hocus Pocus brewery, which won votes for its unique illustration. With the prize in hand, the winners celebrated their achievement and highlighted the importance of the award for the sector.
The prize has crowned all our bets since we started in 2018. Since then, we have seen the can as a differentiator. We were the first brewery in the region to have 100% of our products sold in cans. We strongly believe in the sustainable potential of cans, which enable infinite recycling. Furthermore, the can is a blank slate that invites people to explore creative capabilities and deliver a differentiated product to the consumer, comments Jos Marcondes Neto, from brewery compl.
Paulo Leite, from the Furst brewery, also highlighted how the result could influence the routine within the brewery.

Sustainability and innovation guided the event in 2023
At the awards event, held at the Beer Institute, in So Paulo (SP), Citilo Cndido, executive president of the Brazilian Association of Aluminum Can Manufacturers (Abralatas), organizer of the competition and responsible for bottling more than half of all beer Produced in Brazil, it celebrated the indexes recorded in the 2023 edition.
