Due to lack of resources, service time decreased
‘Crime doesn’t wait for dawn’ is the name of the campaign created by the 11:21 agency, which calls for the Disque Denância service to return to being 24 hours a day. Due to lack of resources, a few years ago, Hotline Denuncia had to reduce service times, starting in the morning and ending at 10pm.
The idea of the campaign is to draw the attention of authorities, businesspeople and everyone who can contribute resources to help the Hotline to get back up and running 24 hours a day.
The commercial shows a phone ringing in a dark room. And it plays. And it plays. And no one answers. The phone keeps ringing all the time, while lettering gives the message: Due to lack of funds, Disque Denencia only responds until ten at night. There are more than 350 unanswered calls per night.
The film will air on TV Globo from the 11th with support from the broadcaster, in addition to digital media and social networks from Disque Denência.
The creation of the campaign by Gustavo Bastos and Diego Crisostomo, with approval from Renato Almeida, produced by Black Bird and directed by Ricardo Oliveira.
