The biggest cart competition in the world will feature renowned streamers such as Gaules, Mount and the FURIA team.
Have you ever imagined a starting grid made up of your favorite characters from films, series, anime and games? So, fasten your seatbelts, because São Paulo has been chosen to host, for the first time in history, the biggest crazy race in the world in a themed format that celebrates geek culture. In June, dozens of cars will compete for the title of Red Bull Down hill. Registration is free, open and can be done through the site.
In its special edition, Red Bull Ladeira Below 2024 will feature players and streamers from FURIA, one of the biggest eSports teams in the world, from Gaules, the biggest streamer in Brazil and one of the main streamers on the planet, from Flakes Power, in addition to from other guests. “This is one of the most anticipated events of the year, because it brings together diverse sports. And this next geek edition is going to be really cool, as it connects the universe of cosplays, cars and the excitement of people going down the hill. I’m really looking forward to seeing what the participants will prepare”, projects Gaules who, in the last edition, took to the track a giant helmet to honor the Tribe and, in 2024, made the official announcement during theRed Bull Casa da Tribo.
Streamer Mount, who has around 1 million subscribers on Twitch, will also attend the race. This geek vibe is very interesting because of the stigma that gamers don’t leave the house. How to participate in Red Bull Ladeira Below?
To register for Red Bull Ladeira Below 2024, interested parties must access the website, include an illustration of the vehicle’s design (this can be in graphic editing software or even with pencil and paper), a description of the cart’s theme and also the names and details of the team members, which must consist of up to five people.
The 40 most creative projects will be announced in March. From there, the teams will have around three months to build the presented project, before facing the final challenge. It is worth noting that transporting the cart to the competition location will be done by the competitors themselves, regardless of their city of origin, and also that the carts cannot be motorized.
In addition to the descent time, the judges will also evaluate originality, ingenuity, creativity, connectivity with the proposed theme, among other attributes, before declaring which team will be the winner of this unprecedented edition in the world.

With more than 130 stages held since it was created in 2000, Red Bull Ladeira Below is a competition between drivers (amateurs or experienced), who build their own cars without motors, to descend a steep path powered by the force of gravity. Speed, creativity and other criteria are essential to enchant the public and the judges in search of the title.
In Brazil, the competition in its traditional format has already had seven editions, in places such as Porto Alegre (RS), Fortaleza (CE), Balnerio Cambori (SC), Belo Horizonte (MG), Goinia (GO), So Paulo (SP) and Ribeiro Preto. Furthermore, it has already had illustrious presences such as big rider Pedro Scooby, influencers Thaynara OG and Lo Picon, among others.
