Tennis player joins the brand’s team of personalities that includes presenter Marcos Mion, Chevrolet ambassador, and Djamila Ribeiro
Chevrolet and Bia Haddad signed a partnership just a few days before the Australian Open, the first Grand Slam tournament of the year. She currently occupies 11th place in the WTA rankings, the main ranking in the sport, and has already been a semi-finalist at Roland Garros and Wimbledon.
The athlete joins the brand’s team of personalities that includes presenter Marcos Mion, Chevrolet ambassador, and Djamila Ribeiro, co-creator of the #ElasNaDireo movement that talks about female empowerment in traffic.
As part of the communication strategy, the tennis player must share with fans her routine linked to Chevrolet vehicles, such as the Equinox and the Bolt EUV. The partnership’s communication strategy is the responsibility of Commonwealth//WMcCann, a division of WMcCann responsible for exclusive Chevrolet service.
The youthfulness, strength and resilience, characteristics of Bia, are fully aligned with what we are building for Chevrolet: an even more vibrant, optimistic and authentic brand like Bia, said Chris Rego, executive director of Marketing at GM South America.
