Like Avon, other brands have also changed their names on the social network
Last week, Avon changed its name on Twitter after a “debauchery” made by the administrators of the account of Jade Picon, participant of Big Brother Brasil 2022, on Twitter.
The brand was not the first to “take on” the nickname of one of the participants in the reality show. During one of the leader’s tests, the now ex-participant of the program, Naiara Azevedo, made a mistake when pronouncing the name of the softener Downy, calling him ‘Dôni’.
After this episode, the brand took advantage of the moment and changed its name on Twitter and, of course, made fun of the situation.
Leaving the BBB atmosphere, Netflix also changed its name on the network after an article in Jornal Nacional, where the journalist interviewed a woman whose name is Nete Flix.
A classic case of a name change — which expanded social networks — is that of Méqui. The brand took the form in which it is called by fast food lovers and changed its name both in the networks and in the restaurants.
Brahma also changed its name on Twitter to live up to the “cremosity” of the beer and, now, it is called Cremilda on the network.
