This Monday (15), Walter Zagari assumed the national vice-presidency of Marketing at Rede Bandeirantes for Radio, Television, PayTV and Digital. The executive, who has worked for almost all broadcasters in Brazil, including Band itself, has been developing exceptional work in the advertising market, which has made him one of the most respected names in the sector.
Graduated in Economic Sciences from Fundao lvares Penteado, Zagari began his career at TV Tupi, where he was office-boy to commercial director. After that, he assumed the same role at Band before being hired as commercial superintendent at SBT, where he remained for two decades. From 2002 to 2023, he held the position of commercial vice president at Record.
Throughout his career, he served as president of the Brazilian Marketing and Business Association (ABMN) and won the Cabor Award as Best Vehicle Professional in 1995 and 2005. In 2007, he was chosen to occupy chair number 33 at the Brazilian Academy of Marketing (Abramark) in recognition of the services provided as one of the most experienced business executives in open TV.
In this new mission, Zagari will have the support of the entire team, committed to bringing excellent results to Grupo Bandeirantes de Comunicao.
