The BCMA (Branded Content Marketing Association) local operation will be chaired by Patrícia Weiss, chairwoman of the entity and also responsible for the Portugal unit
Brazil is the newest country to have a chapter of the BCMA (Branded Content Marketing Association), founded 18 years ago in England to represent the branded content market and the influencer marketing industry. The arrival in the country is part of the entity’s effort to expand its markets, working with a local perspective and a more focused approach.
The local operation will be chaired by Patrícia Weiss, a professional who is also responsible for the Portugal unit. According to her, the national chapter will provide a faster pace of growth and collaboration among professionals in the country.
“I believe that the power of developing the culture of Branded Content in Brazil is enhanced when we deconstruct the generalist and limited vision of regionalization. Brazil is a giant and unique creative power in the world, as well as original and extremely rich,” she explains.
For the professional, who has more than 30 years of experience in the branded content market, it is “fundamental to help in the process of decoding and clarifying what the Branded Content territory really is in a culture whose business model was shaped by advertising”, complements. In the country, the entity already has major brands and renowned professionals on its board, traveling through industries such as entertainment, content, creation and production.
