The chronicler, filmmaker and journalist Arnaldo Jabor died in the early hours of this Tuesday (15) at the age of 81. He was hospitalized at Hospital Sírio-Libanês and had a stroke.

Throughout his life, Jabor created works such as “Eu sei que vou te amar”, from 1986, which was nominated for the Palme d’Or for best film at the Cannes Film Festival. He was also a columnist for important newspapers such as TV Globo since 1991.
His dedication to the arts of cinema put in his life story seven feature films along with short films and documentaries. Most of his works portray the vision of Brazilians and social reality, in addition to touches that defy classic cinema. In 1973, she won the Silver Bear at the Berlin Film Festival for “All Nudity Will Be Punished”.
