Campaign created by The Juju features classes that address some of the most common social engineering scams
Fortinet pointed out that Brazil is the second country with the most victims of digital crimes, behind only Mexico. With this in mind, 99Pay teamed up with judoka Flvio Canto to launch a series of educational content focusing on “Digital Defense”.
The project, created by The Juju, will feature classes that address some of the most common social engineering scams, a technique used by virtual criminals to trick people into sharing sensitive data, and the main ways to defend yourself.
“Every day we see the emergence of new types of scams, which is why we believe in the importance of educating and raising awareness of our users about digital security. We use technologies and improve our processes to bring more and more security to our users. Despite this, we need to remember that in Brazil, social engineering scams are the most recurrent, making the user the weakest link in this chain”, explained Bruno Trigo, senior risk manager at 99Pay.
The video classes will be broadcast on 99Pay’s social networks, such as Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, in addition to the judoka’s official profiles.
“We created a distance learning platform through Instagram and TikTok, using 99Pay’s knowledge, user experience and, of course, an accessible language for the final audience”, said Renato Simes, CCO (Chief Creative Officer) at The Juju.
The campaign will also include the participation of influencers, sending email marketing to users, media and communication within the 99 app.
