Thiago Rebello will lead the company’s plan to make the group’s stores an experience space for customers
The Ri Happy Group announced that Thiago Rebello will assume the role of CEO. The executive joined the company in November 2022 to lead the transition together with the then CEO, Ronaldo Pereira Jnior, now appointed as a member of the board.
Before joining the company, the executive held the position of Vice President of Retail at Grupo SBF and worked for companies such as Casa do Po de Queijo, Walmart and Bompreo.
The announcement reflects the new moment in the history of the Ri Happy Group, which owns the Ri Happy and PBKids brands.
“Our brands are the most beloved in the sector in Brazil. We are part of the affectionate memory of many adults who, today, are our customers and who visit us with their children. We want to continue being a destination for families, preserving our essence, while at the same time as we adapt to the new”, said Rebello.
For 2024, the company is planning to transform its stores into a place of experience for customers, both adults and children, with the proposal to gradually adapt and continue expanding the concept in operation at Ecovilla Ri Happy, the company’s flagship store. brand in Rio de Janeiro that brings together a themed store, theater for children’s shows, party house, art workshops, holiday camp and recreational activities for children and families.
“We want to transform our stores into meeting and fun spaces for the whole family, with various activities, creative workshops and toy experimentation, offering an experience that goes beyond purchasing. We want to make every contact with our brands a magical moment that deserves to be kept in the memory of children and their families”, explained the executive.
Furthermore, Rebello plans to expand the product line and bring the main launches to the market first hand and expects to expand the number of franchises. The executive also highlighted the desire to open new stores in cities with more than 70 thousand inhabitants.
