In Latin America, the company recorded organic growth of almost 9%
Publicis Groupe released this Thursday (8) the balance sheet with the figures for 2023, when the group recorded net revenue of 13 million euros. The amount is equivalent to a growth of 4.2% compared to 2022 figures: 12.5 million euros.
Organic growth was 6.3% in fiscal 2023 versus 2022. Compared to 2019, this implied organic growth of 21%, accelerating in the second half by 22%, after 19% in the first half.
The media area, which corresponds to a third of revenues, grew two digits above last year, benefiting from both market share gains and organic customer growth.
Data and technology activities, another third of revenue, recorded ‘very solid’ overall growth, as the report said. Publicis Sapient achieved organic growth of 3.2% on top of a very high comparable base of 19% in fiscal 2022.
Around the world
In North America, net revenue increased by 4.9%, organically. The region grew 2.3% on a reported 2023 basis, which includes a negative impact from the US dollar exchange rate against the euro.
The US advanced 5%, up from double-digit growth last year.
In Europe, net revenue increased by 10.3% on an organic basis: United Kingdom (10.4%), France (5.2%), Germany (7.2%) and central region and Eastern Europe (16%).
Asia-Pacific saw its net revenue grow +2.9% organically. China recorded organic growth of +2.2%, despite difficult macroeconomic conditions throughout the year.
The Middle East and Africa region grew by +12.4% and, in Latin America, by 8.9%.
