Campaign features hearing-impaired actors to reinforce the importance of accessibility in care.
A Samsung recently launched a campaign to present its customer service in pounds so that more and more people are aware of and use this option, enabling their needs and demands to be met through increasingly more humanized contact. The action is in line with the company’s ESG agenda, and comes in a scenario in which approximately 10 million people have some degree of deafness in Brazil.
The campaign consists of a film that begins with actor Pedro Neschling telling his story. While he introduces himself and brings important information about people with hearing impairments in Brazil, the actress and Libras interpreter, Anna Maciel appears in the Libras window, in the bottom right corner of the video, translating the information. Soon Anna becomes the protagonist of the video, and she herself starts to tell her story with sign language. She also presents Samsung’s service in pounds as a service tool to make the world more accessible.

In 2023, Samsung’s Libra Customer Service recorded a 61% increase in the number of services provided compared to the previous year. Just like our products and services, these actions are aimed at greater customer comfort.
