On this 14th, the United States and several other countries around the world celebrated Saint Valentine’s Day, or a variant of Valentine’s Day. So if you’re somewhere that has this celebration, or simply have a reason to watch a romantic film, here are six tips that are available on Netflix. I’m sure you’ll like something to sigh for – whatever your romantic taste.
Through my Window
In the story, Raquel is a girl who is crazy about her mysterious and very hot neighbor. After all, he is the sexy, rich bad boy who everyone wants to be with at school. She watches him through the window, never speaking to him. But always imagining what it would be like to kiss him. But, suddenly (of course), something surprising happens to her. Out of nowhere, Ares starts using his wifi password and they start exchanging a few words. Now Raquel is confident that she will make Ares fall in love with her. The relationship begins with a spark, quickly and with a lot of passion. But Ares can’t or won’t commit. Could the passion between Raquel and Ares become love or just a summer dream? There are two sequences: one is already available – Through My Window: Beyond the Sea. The third part premieres this month on Netflix.
Montecarlo
I think this film is delightful, very Afternoon Session. Grace (Selena Gomez) manages to fulfill her dream of traveling to Paris with her friends Meg (Leigthon Meester) and Emma (Kate Cassidy), but the trip proves to be somewhat disappointing. The trio is somewhat discouraged until the day when Grace is mistaken for an English millionaire named Cordlia and decides to take on the role. A lot of luxury – and confusion – awaits you in Monte Carlo. Among the girls’ romantic interests are Cory Monteith and Luke Bracey, both passionate.
Last of the Mohicans
One of the films of my life. In the colonial period, during the war between England and France, the man raised by Indians Hawkeye (Daniel Day-Lewis) fights for justice and follows Mohican values. He falls in love with Cora Munro (Madeleine Stowe), the daughter of a British officer and must face his disagreement. The soundtrack is also spectacular.
Sense and Sensibility
How can you not love Jane Austen’s stories? Emma Thompson won the Oscar for screenwriting for this film. After her husband’s death, a widow and her three daughters begin to face financial difficulties, as practically the entire inheritance went to someone else, who ignores the promise made on their father’s deathbed that he would support them. One of the sisters is practical (Emma Thompson), using reason as the main way of managing situations. The other (Kate Winslet) is emotional, without ever repressing herself with raw sensitivity. beautiful!
Under the Tuscan Sun
Frances Mayes (Diane Lane, one of my favorite actresses) is a writer who leads a happy life in San Francisco, until she divorces her husband. Sad and depressed, she decides to radically change her life and buys a farm in Tuscany. So she believes she can rest and finish her new text in peace. However, while she takes care of renovating her new house, she ends up meeting a new man, who reignites her passion.
Our Nights
In the sweet and humorous story, Addie Moore (Jane Fonda) is a lonely widow who decides one night to invite her also-living neighbor Louis Waters (Robert Redford) to sleep over at her house. The unusual proposal aims to help the two overcome insomnia. At first, the retired professor has no reaction. But as they put things into practice, a beautiful, special relationship begins. Beautiful film, two wonderful actors, unmissable!
