Globo, CNN, Talent and Druid Creative Gaming were some of the companies that had news this week
What we saw in recent weeks were movements in two of the main media companies in Brazil. At Globo, Erick Brtas left the leadership of digital products and paid channels. Therefore, Manuel Belmarcurrent director of finance, legal and infrastructure, will also take over the area that belonged to Brtas.
The executive has been with Grupo Globo since 2003 and, in the process of integrating Globo’s businesses, led the construction of the company’s vision and D2C model, contributing with his refined strategic capacity and dominance of the business and the market.
Already CNNwhoever arrived was Henry Collor. He will hold the position of director of strategic and business relations, part of his commercial team. With experience in serving clients and agencies, he comes from Amazon Ads, where he worked as director of customer strategy since 2021.
Before that, he was director of advertising sales, for São Paulo, at Grupo Bandeirantes de Comunicao and commercial director at Rede TV!. With a degree from Fundão Getulio Vargas and a specialization in digital marketing from Insper, Henrique Collor also has a stint in marketing at Ipiranga Petrleo on his CV.
Among the agencies, the Talent presented Gustavo Victorino as the new CCO. The creative arrives from Africa Creative, where he was executive creative director. With a 24-year career, he has worked in agencies such as AlmapBBDO, Wieden+ Kennedy, DM9, Leo Burnett, Publicis Brasil and DDB Colombia.
Talent has always been one of the most respected agencies on the market, home to iconic campaigns that are now part of popular culture. My challenge, in this rapidly changing market, will be to maintain this creative consistency while meeting customers’ current needs, he said.
Already Druid Creative Gaming, the new addition was Douglas Santos. He assumes the role of planning director. Former Suno United, the executive has worked at Wunderman, RAPP Collins and Cheil, where he led projects and gamer actions carried out for major brands such as Samsung, Havaianas, Fanta, among others.
“At the agency I will not only be able to expand my specialty in creating creative strategies for brands within the gaming universe, but also help generate business results, leveraging processes and the potential of ideas put on the street,” said the new director.
On adtech AdGrowth, Renato Bastos be the new country sales manager. During his professional career, the executive assumed leadership positions in the main media companies, such as AlmapBBDO, Rocket Lab, DynAdmic and Melt, among others.
He joins the team with the aim of promoting leadership focused on development, promoting and strengthening new partnerships with media agencies. His specialties include programmatic media, team management and mobile marketing.
