The launch included influencers to debut the pieces in parts of the city such as MASP, Peri Alto, Beco do Nego and Estao da Luz
Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB) and Penaltuy have come together to present the uniforms for the All-Star Game, which will take place at Ginsio do Ibirapuera, in So Paulo, on March 15th and 16th.
The four teams will be represented by uniforms in white, red, gold and black. The launch featured four influencers to premiere the pieces in strategic points in the city of So Paulo such as MASP, Peri Alto, Beco do Nego and Estação da Luz.
According to Daniel Gama, art director of the National Basketball League (LNB), he explained that the uniform designs were designed to reflect the culture of the city of São Paulo.
“It features the city map as a texture. The font SP24 was made in the style of graffiti bomb, picho, which is always very present in So Paulo. On the bar, in addition to the coordinates of Marco Zero, we also have the coordinates of the Ginsio do Ibirapuera, where the game will take place. And we never put ‘Non Ducor Duco’, which is the city’s motto, which means ‘I’m not led, I lead’, which shows the pride of São Paulo residents”, said Gama.
In addition to producing the uniforms for the All-Star Game, including athletes, technical committee and referees, Penalty also holds the naming rights for the Skills Challenge and manufactures the official ball of the event and the league.
“For the second year in a row, we will dress all the participants of the All-Star Game and this fills us with joy. A special edition of the event, with the return to São Paulo, a city that breathes art, culture and sport. A perfect combination that will be represented with brilliance in the uniforms”, concluded Damiano Sanna, marketing and sports relations manager at Penalty.
