Agreement, which still needs to be approved by Cade, was announced this Tuesday (20), in So Paulo
Cacau Show announced this Tuesday (20), at an event held in So Paulo, the purchase of the Playcenter Group, owner of the Playcenter Family parks and the Playland chain.
The news places the chocolate brand, one of the main players in Brazil, in the entertainment and experience sector.
The event was attended by Alexandre Costa, CEO of Cacau Show, and Marcelo Gutglas, founder of Playcenter. There is still no official information about the project or the location of the future park.
It is worth remembering that the agreement still needs to be approved by Cade (Administrative Council for Economic Defense).
Opened in July 1973, Playcenter was one of the most emblematic amusement parks in the country, inspired by attractions in the United States and Europe. Historical data shows that Playcenter received around 1.5 million people annually.
The park closed its doors on July 29, 2012.
