Representing Brazil and Latin America, Catharina Mendona, writer at the agency AlmapBBDOone of the winners of Next Creative Leaders 2023. Held in partnership with The One Club for Creativity and The 3% Movement, the award nominates rising women and non-binary creatives who have stood out around the world with their work and views on creative leadership.
The competition evaluates the portfolio of professionals who are taking on leadership roles, including writers, art directors, designers, associate creative directors, as well as recently promoted creative directors and design directors, with less than a year in the role.
Catha is among the 35 winners in the world for her work and delivery, which include projects such as ‘Mother’s Day #SejaRedeDeApoio’ for O Boticário, ‘Irritatingly Irresistible Crunchy Cheetos’ for PepsiCo and ‘Rare as FYS’ from the Heineken Group. A writer for over 10 years, she began her career in her hometown, Aracaju (SE), until moving to So Paulo (SP), where she had the opportunity to work with national and international brands. In 2021, she won a Grand Prix at the Cannes Lions Festival, in addition to other recognitions at festivals around the world. Since 2022, she has been a writer at AlmapBBDO.
