‘Alfredinho do Ita’, as known in the market, gave an autograph session during the brotherhood’s traditional lunch
The biography Alfredo Luiz dos Santos, the journey of a winner had a special launch last Friday (23), during the traditional lunch of the Clube dos 100 Amigos, of which he is a member. The 138-page book tells the life of Alfredo, from his birth, in the East Zone, to the present day, focusing, in large part, on his successful career as advertising manager for Banco Ita for more than three decades, a period in which the bank gained strong visibility and brand value. Alfredinho do Ita, as he became known in advertising and media outlets, upon leaving his role, began working in outdoor advertising companies and providing mentorship in terms of communication strategy.
The book was written by journalist Antoninho Rossini and published by Editora Tag&Line, of which he is director and has been working since 1986 in the segments of biographies, business profiles, as well as short stories and novels.
It was a pleasure to write Alfredinho’s biography, not only because he is organized and keeps his collections always in order, but also because he conducted interviews to support the work, says Rossini, and then adds: I interviewed advertising directors like Roberto Duailibi and Flvio Conti, as well as Nizan Guanaes, Marcello Serpa, Washington Olivetto, among other award-winning advertising creatives, without forgetting other important figures such as Antonio Matias, former director of Ita at the time Alfredo worked and contemporary colleagues of Alfredinho, who now live abroad.
In the launch plan for Alfredinho’s biography, an autograph afternoon is already scheduled at Sapore&Vinho, a wine fraternity that he frequents in Granja Viana, since when he decided to move to that neighborhood between the municipalities of Cotia and Carapicuiba and more informal meetings with friends.
