According to the company, one of the reasons was the drop in the company’s sales.
In judicial recovery, Americanas released this Monday (26) the figures for the first nine months of 2023, when the company’s crisis broke out at the beginning of last year.
According to information in the report released to investors, Americanas had a net loss of R$4.6 billion, a figure 23.5% lower in the annual comparison.
The main reason for the sharp drop was the drop in sales through digital channels. In the period between January and September last year, the company had a drop of 77.1% compared to the same period in 2022.
EBITDA was negative at R$1.5 billion between January and September 2023, equivalent to a drop of 21.3% in one year.
