Generating content beyond politics is the plan for the operation to have growth
A communication vehicle with a critical view of the Brazilian reality, O Antagonista announces new features with the aim of promoting the growth of the operation and transforming the company into a complete content platform for both readers and brands.
Among the changes, we highlight the expansion of its thematic verticals, the renewal of its leadership team, the reinforcement of its editorial independence and the structuring of a series of new opportunities for advertisers.
The rebranding takes place based on an investment of R$15 million made throughout 2023, with more investments expected in the coming months both in technology and user experience (UX) and in product development and talent attraction. The operation led by Pedro Luiz Cerize now has executives such as Claudia Rei (ex-Record Campinas and Novabrasil) as CEO; Paulo Costa (ex-Jovem Pan, Grupo Bandeirantes and Eletromidia), as commercial director; Luana Andrade (ex-Novabrasil, Estado and Cond Nast), as head of new businesses and projects; and with the return of Felipe Moura Brasil to the editorial team, now as editorial director.
Along with the structural changes, a reformulation of the portal and visual identity aims to offer a loyal and engaged public a new experience in the way they consume O Antagonista content. Maintaining its vigilant essence and total editorial independence, the main new features cover especially formats, with the reinforcement of the video platform and the launch of podcasts, infographics and other languages; and the expansion of coverage, going far beyond politics and covering, in depth, topics of great interest such as sports, culture, entertainment and agribusiness.
