Created by Nacional Comunicao, the campaign also aims to mobilize the population for D-Day to combat mosquitoes
This Thursday (29), Brazil reached the worrying mark of 1 million dengue cases. The data, from the Ministry of Health, refers to the first eight weeks of 2024, and represents practically five times more records than in the same period last year.
To help combat the aedes aegypti mosquito, the Ministry of Health launched the ‘Brazil United Against Dengue’ campaign, which reinforces the tone of alert and mobilization in the face of the disease, calling on the entire population for D-Day to combat dengue, this Saturday (2).
Created by Nacional Comunicao, the campaign highlights that 75% of mosquito outbreaks are in homes, hence the importance of adopting preventive measures at home, which takes an average of 10 minutes per week.
Furthermore, the campaign revisits the main symptoms of dengue, clarifying that staying hydrated and seeking a Health Unit immediately after the first symptoms are essential so that the disease does not progress to its severe form.
All media will have national coverage, with planned broadcasting on television and social networks. In addition to a partnership with the Ministry of Education, broadcast by Mec Abert.
