Meeting with Rodrigo Pacheco takes place this Tuesday (5), at 10am
Alongside other entities, Ampro (Promotional Marketing Association) will be in Brasilia this Tuesday and Wednesday to continue the mobilization that brings together representatives from the hotel, tourism and entertainment sectors, benefiting from the Emergency Program for the Resumption of the Events Sector .
Tomorrow, at 10 am, Ampro will participate in a hearing with the President of the Federal Senate, Rodrigo Pacheco. The event is organized by the Mixed Parliamentary Front of the Brazilian Hotel Industry.
To demonstrate the divergence between the numbers presented by the Ministry of Finance, ten entities representing some of the 44 CNAEs eligible for Perse, commissioned a study on the tax cost of the program and the growth of the sectors, carried out by Tendencias Consultoria.
This study points out, among other data, that the effective value of the program is R$6.5 billion, that is, almost three times lower than what was announced by the government.
“The program, which ends in 2027, cannot be interrupted abruptly in 2024. Many companies are still restructuring and are counting on tax benefits to keep up with the installments of the debt they have been carrying since 2020 when the sector came to a standstill” , explains Heloisa Santana, President of Ampro.
