In order to maintain its DNA of innovation and pioneering in the delivery market, the Rap launches its subscription program, which is now called ‘Rappi Pro’. The initiative aims to revolutionize the trend of benefit programs in the sector and increasingly deliver added value and recurring savings to users.
The new feature will be applied in all nine markets in which Rappi operates in Latin America, including Brazil. Since it was launched in the country, at the beginning of 2022, the program, previously called Prime, has shown exponential growth, reflecting the market trend. So much so that, during the period, the number of subscribers in the Superapp user base jumped from 20% to more than 70%, representing up to 79% of all platform orders in the country.
With this relaunch of our subscription program, now transformed into Rappi Pro, we will bring even more benefits to users. Our subscribers will see the added value more directly, making the subscription worthwhile from the first day of use. We know what Rappi users want and that is why we have worked so that the program can now have benefits both inside and outside the platform. The two current plans will be maintained, which will be called Rappi Pro and Rappi Pro Black. Both, which offer a 30-day free trial, will have the following main benefits: unlimited free deliveries across all app verticals; exclusive discounts on service fees and also on various items on the platform; surprises when placing orders on Rappi Turbo; advantages in offline/in-person experiences, with the best partner brands on the platform.
Exclusively, the Black option also offers: priority deliveries; 24-hour preferential support; personalized service on WhatsApp with a Rappi member; guarantee of annual savings, with the refund of the difference in credits, if the user’s savings are less than the total cost of the annual subscription; 5% credits on Rappi Travel, for flights and hotels.
In this way, Rappi’s Pro subscription was created exclusively to make people’s lives easier, with additional benefits that help save time and money. The strategy is to build customer loyalty, in a market scenario in which customization has gained prominence.
