The game “Crab Game” is making the biggest hit among gamers. Based on Round 6 (or Squid Game, as it is called in English), the hit series from Netflix, the production is an assumed parody. Even the names meet, since squid e crab mean, respectively, squid and crab in English.
Crab Game can be obtained for free through Steam. The production was developed by a YouTuber named Dani and is gaining popularity, especially on the most popular live streaming network in the gaming world, Twtich. A large part of the game’s success is due to its accessibility.
Dani, creator of Crab Game, even made a video showing how he made the game, check it out:
The game follows the line of the famous “Battle Royales”, games where several players get together and only one (or a team) wins in the end. This competition can be done through an open arena where everyone faces off, or through mini games, as is the case with Crab Game.
The production is very reminiscent of the recent hit Fall Guys, also heavily played on Twitch a few months ago. As in the series it was inspired by, Crab Game has its mini games that lead to the winner linked to children’s games, but with a touch of violence in the competition.
Enter the requirements minimums to run and play are an Intel Core i3 2.00 GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, Windows 7 with 64GB and 200MB of free space on the device. Still, the recommended settings are a little more demanding, but nothing that out of the ordinary.
As the game does not require such powerful devices to run, many people can play it without having problems. The production is rated highly on steam, with 94% player approval among the 100,000+ reviews added to the site.
