Partnership aims to help promote the Olympic Games as another way to connect the company with the country
Azul Linhas Aéreas announced a partnership with the Brazilian Olympic Committee (COB) and will take the place of Team Brasil’s official airline at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
The official announcement took place this Thursday (7), at an event in the company’s hangar in Viracopos, located in São Paulo, during a press conference attended by representatives from Azul and COB and athletes Gustavo Bala Loka ( BMX), Flávia Saraiva (Artistic Gymnastics), Alison dos Santos (Athletics), Letcia Oro (Athletics) and Diana Duarte (Vlei), as well as former volleyball athletes Maurcio Lima and Virna Dias.
The partnership aims to help promote the Olympic Games as another way of connecting the company with the country and, throughout the period, actions are planned, both inside and outside the aircraft.
“We are going to help Team Brazil fly high in every way. Our company could not fail to support Brazilian athletes in this very important global competition. We are proud of this opportunity to support Team Brazil”, said Abhi Shah, president of Azul .
For Gustavo Herbetta, COB’s Marketing Director, the arrival of Azul confirms the excellence of the entity’s management and the tools offered to partners who want to align themselves with the values of the sport.
