The Hershey Company announces its 2024 International Women’s Day celebration with chocolate bars Hershey’s limited edition editions that celebrate the positive impact of women and girls on society.
“At Hershey Brasil, we are excited to highlight the work of female artists in our ‘Her For She’ packaging with powerful messages of connection and support for other women. Using the iconic flavor of Hershey’s milk chocolate, the illustrations are a moving reminder of connection, tribute and gratitude to the inspiring women who play an important role in our daily lives, both on International Women’s Day and throughout the year”, comments Larissa Diniz, Hershey general manager for Latin America.
There are many moments when a phrase like “You are not alone!” It can be decisive for a woman to move forward. This year, the concept “Let’s share this bar”. The objective is to inspire women to share their experiences and daily challenges to support each other through gestures of sisterhood.
As part of the platform, similar to previous years, Hershey Brasil transforms its traditional milk chocolate bars into a true art gallery, displaying the work of five female artists. The project features supporting phrases printed in the illustrations. Each bar encourages gestures of support among women: “You matter”, “You inspire me”, “You are powerful”, “You are not alone” and “You can do it”.
Expansion of the Celebration
To inspire more moments of sisterhood and amplify the visibility of women who “share the bar”, starting in April, the HerShe platform will publish, in partnership with Plano Feminino, conversations about diversity and equity through a series of podcast episodes with themes related to the phrases that are printed on HerShe’s milk bars.
The campaign will also feature an activation in partnership with the Zaffari supermarket, located in Shopping Bourbon, in So Paulo (SP). Customers who purchase three HerShe bars between March 8th and 14th will be able to exchange them for an ecobag from the campaign with the same illustrations on the packaging. Still at Shopping Bourbon, during the same period, Hershey will promote an exhibition with the works printed on the packaging and biographies of the artists.
