The purchase of an appliance between the 1970s and 1980s mobilized the entire family around a real trip to the stores that dominated commerce at the time. The extinct Mappin was one of them. The retailer closed its doors in 1999, after 86 years building one of the most beloved brands among consumers, located in Praa Ramos de Azevedo, the center of the capital of São Paulo.
